The problem that I have with the worship of this man, and it is worship, is that way too much has to be overlooked in order to grab the crumbs that fall from his plate. ” But he’s against this or that.” You say. Does it matter what he’s against if his ambitions remain godless? He flip- flops and finds himself caught in conflicts of interests, because of his worldview. The error that many are making in not only trusting this man, but elevating him and setting him apart from ” the bad apples,” is found in the deceptive tactic of ” the serpent” in Genesis 3. Eve was beguiled by the serpent, because he grabbed her imagination, and through it, he was able to distract her from the basic truth that she ALREADY knew! She knew who God was, which meant that she also knew who God WASN’T! The Serpent AKA Satan, didn’t need to defend himself because she was already too busy overlooking reality to see the grotesque and prideful nature of the creature who was offering her the alternative. It’s interesting to note that Eve wasn’t overtly looking to worship Satan, neither was Satan overtly asking her to. She was seeking to elevate HERSELF!  Satan, as the instigator and king of narcissism, receives that worship by default. Motivated by pride from which flow envy, bitterness, jealousy, and all manner of unrighteousness. His hatred for mankind, who were made in God’s image and beloved by God, was secondary only to his hatred for His Creator. His image is increasingly being made manifest in society at large  Today we stand on the precipice; the old order versus the new world order. People are looking for a saviour. Things have gone too far, but the imagination of man, together with his hardened heart and egoistic and rebellious nature, will always seek to become his own god!
Whenever a civilisation goes too far, it begins to eat its own tail. In a desperate attempt to save itself, it becomes abominable. It makes compromises and accepts the unacceptable. The powerless members of society become convinced that whatever the leaders/powerful are able to offer, must be better than their current state or perceived future. They begin to fall into the deception of ” good guy/ bad guy,” even if the ” good guy” has a god complex! They fall into the deception that Israel fell into, in demanding a King, ( Saul) when they already had God. 1 Samuel 8:20
There is only ONE Saviour. Jesus of Nazareth! He is coming again, first to remove His Church from the earth 2 Thess 5: 16-18,  2 Corinth 15: 51-52 before unleashing His wrath, then to the earth to put an end to this present age with all of its darkness and set up His Kingdom. Zech 14:4-11, Rev 19:11-16, 20: 1-6

By now, we should  all have realised that we are no match for this technological age in which we now live. Rev 13:15 Mankind is enslaved under technocratic rule and the only way out is as it is written– ” The just shall live by faith.”

Habakkuk 2:4 —“Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.”

• Romans 1:17 – “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”
• Galatians 3:11 – “But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.”
• Hebrews 10:38 – “Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, My soul shall have no pleasure in him.”

As believers, we are the light of the world. Matt 5: 14-16 We ought to be leading by example and holding back the darkness. We do this by holding out the The Light–Jesus/ Yeshua as the Messiah. We do it by using eschatology and prophecy, together with the gospel to open eyes and steady feet in a world built on sand. We do it by rejecting all false Messiahs. We do it by speaking out and being bold enough to care less for our own comfort and more for the souls of men that are falling headlong into hell!
Elon Musk doesn’t have to be overtly ” evil,” as in a supervillain to still do evil. Motives are not the basis for truth. Truth is the basis for truth, and truth comes from, and IS God! HE alone defines it. Therefore, anyone who seeks to redefine it, no matter how noble the cause may seem outwardly, is an enemy of God.
The ONLY answer to a dying world remains the same as it has always been. Jesus saves. God’s Messiah.
